Webinar: Overcoming a Goliath

Or, what every Challenger Brand (isn’t every brand always challenging?) needs to be thinking about…

There’s a multitude of issues the Challenger faces; from reduced brand awareness versus the competition, through to consumer inertia of choosing the most familiar choice.

It’s not an easy environment to operate within but chipping away at the dominance of The Leader is absolutely possible – just look at Shark as they knocked Dyson off the top step.

The most obvious (most dangerous) course of action is to focus on the short-term and try to increase sales through activity such as price promotions. Whilst success is seen almost immediately, it can be detrimental to a brand longer term.

Come join McCann and our strategy team of James Bagan and Miles Williams for our ‘Overcoming a Goliath’ webinar where they’ll explore the key principles every challenger should follow to topple the goliath that exists in their market.
